Privacy Notice pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"). In accordance with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data, Casa La Dogana provides the following information.

Casa La Dogana processes personal data provided by you at the time of booking and during your stay, including:
- Name and surname
- Date and place of birth
- Nationality
- Residence/domicile
- Identity document details
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Payment details
- Any additional information voluntarily provided
3. Purposes and Legal Basis of Processing
Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:
a) Performance of the accommodation contract
To manage bookings, provide hospitality services, and ensure proper management of your stay.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
b) Compliance with legal obligations
To comply with obligations under applicable Dutch and European law.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).
c) Administrative, accounting and tax purposes
For accounting, invoicing, and fiscal compliance.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation).
d) Marketing and promotional communications (optional)
To send promotional, advertising, and commercial communications relating to events, offers, and services of Casa La Dogana, and to analyse preferences in order to provide personalised offers.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Consent is optional and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Refusal to provide consent will not affect your stay or contractual relationship.
4. Nature of Data Provision
Provision of data for purposes (a), (b), and (c) is necessary. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible for Casa La Dogana to provide accommodation services.
Provision of data for purpose (d) is optional.
5. Methods of Processing
Personal data are processed in paper and electronic form, in compliance with principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimisation, and confidentiality. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are adopted to ensure data security and protection.
6. Data Recipients
Personal data may be disclosed to:
- Employees and collaborators authorised by the Controller
- External service providers acting as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 GDPR (e.g., IT providers, accounting consultants)
- Public authorities where required by law
Personal data will not be publicly disclosed.
7. Data Transfers
Personal data are processed within the European Union and stored on servers located within the EU. If data were to be transferred outside the EU, such transfer will occur in compliance with Articles 44–49 GDPR.
8. Data Retention Period
- For the duration of the contractual relationship
- For the time required by applicable civil, tax, and accounting legislation
- For marketing purposes, until consent is withdrawn and in any case for a period consistent with applicable data protection guidelines
9. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to Articles 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to:
